Today I shipped my boss to the San Jose airport, which gave me
an excuse to be up really early and get stuff done (I left nicks place
at around 5.45AM). After a quick breakfast at SB in SJ, I decided to drive to Santa Cruz.
Good choice. I was met by a shining sun and warm temperatures (~73F/23C). I parked south
of the boardwalk [446] and walked south along the beach (Rocky Balboa sighting!!! [447]).
Artsy-fartsy picture in [449] apart, it was a very colorful day, which made it really
bizarr to see americans drive around with x-mas trees on their cars and x-mas music being played in stores etc.
