recap: New year was fun. I was invited, with Nick, to Nicks friend Ryan who has a very nice apartment in the North Beach area of SF. I was a
slow starter but picked up around 2 o'clock after we returned from a short stint at a bar. I was back in Pleasanton, and in my bed at 4.30.
Just came back from two days of snowboarding in Squaw Valley, Lake Tahoe. Shit' was great. First day I rode half day in order to not kill myself
since it has been a while since I snowboarded. The second day lasted a bit longer and I found some nice lines. I mainly bombed down and/or played a
bit on the edges of the pists or in the forrest. I borrowed Nicks board (regular stanced) and rode faster switch than I had in a long long time.
That felt really good. I am thinking of buying a park board for those days like this when it might be more fun in the park, due to the abscence of
fresh pow. Nick shot a pic of me as I stare sheeply into the wilderness.
